Is disney going to destroy music altogether?

No. There have always been albums put out with children in mind – I’m forty and I have a stack of them on vinyl sitting on the shelf (no I no longer play them…). But that goes to show that you can have these albums put out in 1973 and in 2003 and there is still plenty of good music aimed at adults. Honestly I don’t have a problem with Disney and people can thumbs down me all they want. A lot of kids don’t have parents that introduce them to music so they have to have a starting point. As they get older, they will discover other types of music and branch out. We all have to start somewhere. Anything that actually gets children ~interested~ in either picking up a cd or a musical instrument cannot be a bad thing.
