Is Detoxifying the Colon Necessary?
The colon is perhaps one of the more important organs in the human body, especially in the digestive system. But the colon is often neglected and that is the hard and sad truth. Many people are under the impression that our bowels are self cleaning and there is no need to further clean the system. A detox diet is rich in high fiber because it consists of easily digestible fruits and vegetables. Our normal diet that we eat everyday is entirely the opposite. Most of the Americans take a high proportion of meat and related products in their normal everyday diet. They take processed unhealthy foods tat are rich in harmful toxins thereby clogging their digestive systems. Erratic eating adds to this problem as it affects the digestive process, which in turn severely clogs the colon tract and end up having constipation problems. This makes the colon susceptible to diseases and if untreated can lead to further damage and perhaps even prove fatal to some. Everybody is aware that the colon is es
