Is detox included in the treatment payment?
Yes. Acute Medical Management such as Detoxification that is deemed necessary by the initial evaluation will occur at Duke Hospital prior to entering the Mychal Institute at Corolla. Initial management of unstable medical and psychiatric conditions will be offered at Duke Hospital under the care of physicians. Medication management, as appropriate, will be offered at the Mychal Institute under the supervision of a physician.
Cirque Lodge is a private addiction treatment facility and does not offer detox services. We are partnered with detox facilities such as the University Of Utah’s Neuropsychiatric Institute (UNI) in Salt Lake City. A number of medical insurance companies cover a medical period of detoxification. If detox is needed prior to entry of Cirque Lodge we can provide transportation to and from UNI and admittance to our addiction treatment program.
