Is Derren Brown a magician or a self publicist?
He is neither, he is an illusionist, he is obviously not going to show us the real way he correctly had the numbers before the draw (Note how I didn’t say he predicted them, that’s impossible). It was obviously camera trickery or the like. I much preferred the David Blaine program afterwards, quite simply wow, his magic tricks were amazing and he is a truly accomplished magician, Derren Brown is good too though. Also note that he didn’t just get two programs on just channel 4, his show aired on more4, e4, film4 & channel 4 simultaneously. He got a lot of publicity and this is what he wanted.
