Is depression always caused by repressed anger and frustration?

0

I went to therapists who tried to find the source of my depression. Finally, after a suicide attempt, I saw a psychopharmacologist who said “Let’s not try to find the origin of your depression, let’s treat the symptoms”. After the symptoms were successfully treated I was able to continue therapy and recognize the roots of my depression. There were many reasons, and in my depressed state I was unable to focus on them. Today I am stronger than ever and able to sort through my feelings. I have alleviated my chronic depression and panic attacks and have gotten to a place in life that I thought I would never achieve.
