Is dentistry a respected career?

People say they hate dentists, lawyers, and doctors but most of those people would probably drop whatever they’re doing to have a chance to become a dentist, lawyer, or doctor. If a woman was to tell her father that she was going to marry a construction worker or a dentist, which occupation do you think the father would want to hear? Dentists are respected because their salary is massive compared to the work they have to do. They are essentially doctors that work on your mouth and teeth. They too have to attend a medical school, in this case it would be dental school, and go through the rigors of the medical academics. Without dentists, our teeth and gums would be rotting by the time we’re 40.
