A pharmacist can tell you whether it is safe or not. Some drugs can have negative affects on a fetus but the doctor prescribing out ways the benefits over the risks. From what I understand the reformulated formula is safe for use in pregnancy. If you’re very concerned talk to your OB or pharmacist and remember, you are the one that decides to take the medicine. If you don’t feel comfortable taking it then don’t. Ask about regular Robitussin, I believe I took that when I was pregnant and had a cold.
