A. DCSF recognises that the capped capital budget provided by the Department (£40 million) was not sufficient to meet the educational vision on two sites and has therefore increased its contribution to £46 million. In addition to this, KCC will increase its capital funding to £4m, bringing the total capital budget to £50m. KCC will also underwrite any significant expenditure above £50m.
