Tuesday December 2, 2008 NBC News chief White House correspondent David Gregory may be the next moderator of the networks venerable Meet the Press, reports The Huffington Post. NBC News, however, is denying the rumor. Its expected that a new moderator will be named sometime this week, mostly likely on Sunday morning, when the program airs. Tim Russert was the programs previous host, before his unexpected death earlier this year. Former NBC news anchor Tom Brokaw is the temporary host.
