Is data available for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland?
The MAGIC application is currently focused on England as this is the common area covered by each of the eight partner organisations. Some Welsh and Scottish datasets have been collated as part of the Coastal and Marine Resource Atlas. These datasets are available through the following topics: • Coastal and Marine Resource Atlas • Great Britain • Design my Own Topic Datasets within MAGIC that currently only cover England may also be available for Scotland and Wales. Some of the partners do have responsibilities that that extend beyond England, for example the Forestry Commission and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. Therefore we would encourage you to contact these organisations to explore whether data is available for Scotland and Wales for the datasets they are responsible for. Other partners such as English Nature and English Heritage, cover only England although similar data is often available from their corresponding organisations in the devolved administrations.
