Is Dartmoor or any of the trips Dangerous?
Any landscape and terrain can be dangerous if you do not respect it and something like Dartmoor (where you might opt to go for a weeknd expedition or the full 1 week Dartmoor holiday) even more so since it is after all a wilderness. You can hurt yourself in a number of ways: getting stuck in a bog, twisting your foot in rocks, slipping off of tors, getting lost in the mist etc, stumbling into army firing exercises! But none of these things matter if you take precautions and we take all the precautions for you. Are There Dangerous Creatures in England? No really. The common adder lives in remote landscape and is the only poisonous snake and is quite rare and very shy; and unless suddenly trod on will hide away from you. Pumas now live on Dartmoor, but again are very secretive and reserved and have plenty to eat without munching tourists! What About Other Wild Creatures? Britain is abundant witrh wonderful wildlife. Lots of wonderful and beautiful things such as: otter; fox; badger, mink
