Is Danny Boyle Remaking ‘Lady Vengeance’?

While there he took part in a web chat answering questions from fans online. Check out the full transcript here. The most interesting comment to my eyes though was his mention that was recently asked to direct the impending US remake of Chan-wook Park’s Lady Vengeance. (He didn’t say what his answer was though…) The film is the denouement to Park’s loose revenge trilogy after the bleak darkness of Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and the brutal brilliance of Old Boy.
