Is DanceWorks Chicago a dance company?
As part of the organization there is a company component to DWC, consisting of 6 dancers, 3 men and 3 women, who refine their craft and share their art form through classes, rehearsals, showings, and performances. Because the organization values the process as well as the product, DWC places equal emphasis on the development of artists as well as the creation and presentation of dances.
