Is D.B Cooper and Richard McCoy Jr the same person?
You could be right about it being the same person, they both hijacked plane and then used a parachute to get away. When you read about them both, the FBI seem to think that they are two people and that Cooper could not have survived the parachute jump. Richard McCoy, Jr. boarded a United Airlines flight and demanded four parachutes and $500,000, he was caught and later killed after escaping from prison. A lady called Jo Weber made a claim that her late husband, Duane L. Weber had told her “I’m Dan Cooper” before his death on March 28, 1995. Weber recalled that her husband had once had a nightmare where he talked in his sleep about jumping from a plane and said something about leaving his fingerprints on the aft stairs. Jo recalled that shortly before Duane’s death, he had revealed to her that an old knee injury of his had been incurred by “jumping out of a plane.” Its one of life’s mysteries and who will ever know if they were the same person or not.
