Is Cypress, TX a good place to relocate to from MS?
Cypress would be a great place for you and your family to move! The Cy-Fair Independent School District on one of the best in Texas. Housing in the area is relatively cheap compared to other parts of the country. We are a growing area with new hospitals and schools. We also have lots of places to shop including a brand new outlet mall. The area is still overwhelmingly white (70%) and Republican, but becoming more diverse by the day. There’s a good amount of Black folks in the area so you will not stand out and feel isolated. Also, just a few miles northwest up Highway 290 is Prarie View A&M University, a historically black university.
