Lowlights: Normally when you sign a six year, $66 million dollar contract, it is a joyous occasion. However, things quickly soured for Monta Ellis a few weeks later when he sustained an ankle injury while riding a moped, an activity that is prohibited in his contract. Because of that little incident, Golden State suspended Ellis for 30 games. When he did come back, injuries chipped away at the rest of his season so that he was only able to play in 25 games. On the court, his numbers were nearly as good as last season, but the Warriors had better hope the lightning quick guard can stay healthy so the large chunk of change left on his deal will go towards something more worthy than moped accidents. Because of Ellis missing so much time to begin the season, the Warriors traded Al Harrington to the Knicks for Jamal Crawford to shore up their back court. Crawford averaged 19.7 points and 4.4 assists, but he also shot just 40.6% from the field and his contract has two years remaining instead
