Is Congestion Revenue Right (CRR) test participation mandatory, and if so, how does a Market Participant (MP) get involved in the CRR testing?
The CRR market functionality test participation is mandatory. Successful completion of registration, market functionality testing and meeting creditworthiness requirements is required by CRR Account Holders (CRRAHs) to be deemed qualified and to have a production digital certificate issued, allowing participation in the CRR Auctions. Market Trials activities for CRR, including details in the CRR Market Trials Handbook, can be viewed at http://nodal.ercot.com/readiness/markettrials/crr/index.html.
