Is Confidence intervals and confidence limits the same calculation?

0

Confidence limits are the lower and upper boundaries of a confidence interval. If you have to find a confidence interval then you have to find both confidence limits. Sometimes you only have to find one confidence limit, in which case you can save yourself some of the work of finding both limits which is necessary to find the confidence interval. Even so, the calculation is exactly the same because the numbers are the same. Only sometimes you need to find both and other times you don’t. Hope this helps you!
