No. The AHA states that the use of previous guidelines is neither unsafe nor ineffective. Your AED will remain under warranty. However any warranty replacement AEDs will be shipped compliant to the new guidelines. Additionally, MedAire training reflects the new guidelines. To improve the chances of someones survival, MedAire and the AHA recommend your AED and CPR training be fully compliant.
