Is completion of the RFA application staff and/or time intensive?
The RFA is very simple and intentionally designed to take only about 15 minutes to complete. The sole narrative requirement is a two-paragraph statement describing how the vouchers will be utilized to support the implementation of a District’s State-approved Technology Plan or, in the case of State Special Schools, Direct-Funded Charters, and County Offices of Education, the requirement is a two-paragraph statement describing how the vouchers will be utilized to support the implementation of their technology plan or other planning document as required and cited in the narrative. Note: Similar to the Consolidated Application process, District Offices, State Special Schools, Direct-Funded Charters, and County Offices of Education will be required to certify that they have a hard copy of the application with the ink signature of an authorized district administrator on file in the LEA office. This document is to be available upon request by CDE or an authorized auditing entity.
