Is Complan suitable for people with renal problems?
The protein content of Complan is quite high, as is the phosphorus level. Both protein and phosphorus can cause difficulties for renal patients. Complan is reconstituted in 200ml of water which may be too much fluid for some renal patients. You should always seek advice from a renal dietitian or doctor before using Complan.
