Certainly evolution has nothing to do with gravity other than requiring a skeletal structure and muscles and tendons to support it. Let’s start from square one: You question the conflict between science and religion. First, you must define God. When I say God, what comes to your mind? If it is an old bearded man sitting on a golden throne in the clouds, then you need to rethink your concept of religious belief. It was man who made God in his own image. Not the reverse. Some fanatics believe that nothing existed except for the purpose and pleasures of Man. There can never be a conflict between religion and science. The two are separate pathways to seek knowledge and truth. If a conflict exists, then it is religious belief which denies truth, not science. We must never forget the dark days of science when the Roman Catholic Church imprisoned, tortured, and murdered innocent men for speaking the truth that our Sun was the center of our Solar System.
