Is colour blindness a obstacle in joining banking jobs?
It is an obstacle as per any standard fitness criteria. But in Banking and Financial jobs, there is hardly any fitness checking normally and colour blindeness is generally ignored. It would not likely to create any serious problem. Remeber, one of every 12 person is colour blind – and a large number of people you see in Banks are likely to be colourblind. Another thing, there are certain agencies who prepare special lenses that enhances colour contrast and the user can detect most of the subtle colour differences. Search the web and u will find many such agencies.
