Is colour-blindness a factor in performance on the Cancellation subtest?
No. Although the Cancellation task utilises colour as a visual distracter, making it possible that children who are colour blind will be less distracted by the bright colours or have greater difficulty differentiating objects of various colours, it is recognition of the shapes of the objects that is required to place them in categories.
