Is Coffs Harbour a good place to live and raise a family ?
I live in Coffs and it is nice but very humid , there is not much work always hard to find a job here, but being a qualified welder may make a difference, i moved from Wodonga and am having problems from the moisture namely mould i had to buy a dehumidifier to dry my place out,Toormina is the most affordable but as in all suburbs it is best to make enquiries from the local police, Moonee Beach is nice that is about 10 kms north of the city along with Sandy beach and Emerald beach. We have beautiful beaches here, the shops are not bad, could have a lot more, Council charges for rates are fairly high, and i don’t know what they do with all the money they get as the roads up here are appalling. As far as i know it is a pretty good place for kids. I used to live in Bendigo years ago in the club house residence we did all the catering for the bowlers, so you will find the weather a huge difference. Best thing is come up for a holiday and check it out.
