Calling coconut oil the low-fat fat, she also reports that it is known to improve thyroid problems, heart problems, cancer, and skin issues. As you can see, getting first hand information on the effectiveness of coconut oil is difficult (though I do trust anything Patricia Williams reports). The only real way to see if coconut oil will cause weight loss is to try it myself.
