Is Cloudy Urine a Symptom of Bladder Infection?
Bladder infections are almost always accompanied by cloudy urine which is often the first sign of infection. However, the presence of cloudy urine itself doesn’t mean you have any kind of infection. Cloudy urine is quite common and is caused by a number of different things such as drinking large quantities of milk, eating fatty foods or certain medications. When cloudy urine is accompanied by other symptoms such as burning during urination, frequent urge to urinate, or pain in the bladder area, these are the symptoms of a bladder infection. The cloudy urine is no doubt caused by the presence of bacteria in the urine. Essentially, bladder infections aren’t particularly serious if treated properly. More common in women than in men, bladder infections are often a common occurrence for some people. The main reason for this is the overuse of antibiotics. Over time, antibiotics can destroy friendly bacteria. Friendly bacteria aren’t as aggressive as infection-causing bacteria and habitual us
