Is CleanTV trying to force its values on the majority of television viewers?
On any given night, 35 to 40 million people watch network television. It is this group of repeat viewers who support the network smut machine. The 2004 Super Bowl drew an audience of 140 million—a differential of approximately 100 million viewers who normally don’t watch network programming. It is this group that was offended by what they saw and is concerned about the impact of pernicious programming on children, youth, families, and society as a whole. It is this group who represents the majority American opinion. And, it it this majority group that is represented by CleanTV America. Simply stated, we believe that the American television airways, which are owned by U.S. citizens, have been hijacked by a perverse minority that relishes permissiveness, violence, and profanity. CleanTV is designed to help this decent majority reclaim our airways for the sake of our children, families, and nation.
