Is Christian Streiff at Peugeot Citroën no longer with the automaker?
No. According to an article from March 30, 2009 in the Marketplace section of the LA Business Journal, Streiff was ousted as the CEO. Apparently th board voted to have Streiff removed immediately–interestingly enough the same day that General Motors CEO Rick Ragoner was forced out so the company could get more bailout money. Looks like car sales are plummeting world-wide.The new CEO of the automaker Peugeot Citroën is Philippe Varin, who was the former CEO of steelmaker Corus.
