Is choy lay fut effective against jujitsu?
Hello there, I have never studied choy lay fut but i do study shotokan karate, and im a wrestling couch in my home town. You have to remember that with all aspects of fighting there are always an equal and opposite move to counter anything that is thrown your way. In any fight position is the key. If you have a good position and have trained enough then when something happens you will respond without thinking even if you might not know what there trying to do to you. Your reaction time is most important both standing and on the ground. If your fast enough you will win. Speed is the best weapon that you can have. No matter what type of karate you do if you have good reaction time then you will stand a greater chance of winning. You also have to always remember when watching fights. Its not what art they do its who is trained better.
