Is Chopin Nocturne easy to learn how to play?

I would say it’s more of an intermediate level piece, it’s not easy to learn or easy to play. And if you’re an absolute beginner who has never played a piece hands together before I definitely do not recommend playing this piece. There are so many things to take into consideration when playing a piece, and it’s not just about being to hit the right notes. In this piece the right is playing somewhat more than the left hand. There are lots of trills, ascending/descending scales. And one of the reasons why this is such a beautiful/emotional piece can be attributed to the use of dynamics. I recommend that you build a stronger piano foundation for yourself before you try to tackle this piece. Maybe you can give Chopin’s Prelude – Op. 28 No. 4 in Em a try? It’s also beautiful, but it’s only 1 page long. It has lots of repeating chords and the tempo is moderately slow. This piece might be more realistic for a beginner who has a few weeks to a month to learn. Hope you do well, and good luck.
