Is chiropractic care covered by the Provincial Medicare? Do my insurances cover chiropractic care?
Chiropractic care is not covered by the Régie de l’Assurance Maladie du Québec (Provincial Medicare). However, most insurance companies cover chiropractic care. Care is often covered up to a maximum of 400$ to 500$. Sometimes, the company will also impose a maximum refund per visit or a percentage of the coverage. If you are covered for chiropractic care, bring your policy booklet and it will be our pleasure to explain the coverage you are entitled to. At the Maison Chiropratique Petits et Grands, we ask you to pay for the visits yourself and to then submit the insurance receipt to your insurance company so as to get reimbursed. At the end of each month, the assistants will print the insurance receipts so that you submit them to your insurance company. If you would like a receipt faster, do not hesitate to ask us for it.
