Is chinese food bad for health?
It’s just a matter of making better choices: steamed plain rice over fried rice, more tofu & veggies over meats, more steamed & boiled dishes over deep-fried stuff etc. The chicken pieces in many American-Chinese chicken dishes are deep-fried first and then heavy sauces (with lots of salt & sugar) are added, very unhealthy. The best thing is to learn to cook your own Chinese food from authentic recipes, so you can control the amount of salt, sugar & oil used. For those people who tend to put on weight, often it’s not just due to eating a particular type of food but their entire food intake is in question. Common culprits are love of junk food & fast food, pampering a sweet tooth, lots of unhealthy snacks between meals, lots of carbonated sweet drinks instead of water, love of deep-fried stuff, too much meat & saturated fats, avoidance of fruits & veggies, eating way too much and little to no exercise.
