Is China a dictatorship?

0

China is not a dictatorship, as they do not have a dictator. They are an authoritarian regime, with a not so elected government that tells its people what to do, and does not have to worry about elections kicking them out. In some ways they are not as bad as they are made out to be, in others they are. Their hold on Tibet and their unwillingness to listen, is bad. But then many other countries have acted in the same way, Spain, Serbia, and you may even say the UK, they hold onto land and have repressed the people in order to remain inside their country and under their control. China executes some of its prisoners, but then so do certain US states. Nobody is saying they are really bad, are they? But then on things like pornography, China has clamped down on that greatly, even though hard core pornography has been shown to reduce violent sexual crimes and why should people not have it if they want it? Certain freedoms like this are restricted. The internet and free speech are restricted
