Is cheese real fattening?

Unfortunately, yes: most cheeses are between 25 and 30% fat! Eek! I absolutely love cheese. I’m vegetarian so whenever I eat out or someone cooks for me there is always lots of cheese! I try to avoid eating too much of it at home so I don’t put on weight! When I do have it I get a strong flavoured one so that I don’t need as much and either slice it thinly if it’s going in a sandwich or only use small amouts to sprinkle on top of foods or put in the things I cook. You can look out for low fat versions, but they are usually more expensive and tend to separate if you use tham in sauces etc. Just try to treat cheese as a treat!
