Is Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)a good option??

To answer your questions: yes, outside of India, yes, yes and no. 1. Yes, the CFA charter is a good option for those individuals who seek a career in investment analysis. That is, it is the designation of choice for stock analysts, credit analysts, fund managers, hedge fund managers, traders, risk analysts and portfolio analysts. However, there may be “better” choices for adjacent careers (e.g. financial planners). 2. The High Court of India has ruled that the CFA exam may not be taken in India, because it is not a registered school. Leave it to Indian bureaucracy to create this problem. While this may be overturned, currently you can ONLY take the exam outside of India. As a result, you will have to fly somewhere to take the exam.
