Is Charlie Sheen insane?
Charlie Sheen appears to be suffering from Narcissistic Personality Disorder. His desire to be the center of attention, and he believes that he is more important, more intelligent, and more necessary than anyone else.
I have heard experts say that he is suffering from issues related to his cocaine addiction and that is very probably true. I agree with those experts. One has to wonder, however, how someone who has lived a graced live can be so self-assured as to believe that they are able of diagnosing and treating their own problems.
Charlie Sheen is not insane, per se’. He is, however, in need of serious help. He will not get that help unless he asks for it, and he is so sure that he is the smartest person in any room that he will not accept help from others. The only other way he would ever be put in a court-ordered position to get therapy is if he becomes an obvious and unstopable threat to himself or others.
As long as his mantra is "winning" he is not really any harm except to those followers who are continuing to enable him by paying for tickets, giving him conference on late night talk shows, and getting paid for tweets he will not be committed for help.
NPD is a mental disorder that is defined as I stated above. The person who suffers from this condition believes themselves grandious in behavior and above the rules that dictate society and the "common man". This behavior can become dangerous however it is usualy nothing more than annoying to those who are compelled to listen to their self-spoken accolades.
