Is changing the material from ThermoJet 88 to ThermoJet 2000 material difficult?

No, it is quite easy. Simply add the ThermoJet 2000 material into the material bin, and as the original material is used, the new ThermoJet 2000 material is introduced. To maximize the speed of the material changeover, ignore the “Add polymer bottle” message until you receive an “Error – no polymer message”. At that point, you should add the new ThermoJet 2000 material. This will provide the fastest possible transition from the old to the new material. For detailed material changeover instructions, refer to Customer Information Bulletin (CIB 0005-07/00). To obtain these guidelines, contact your local 3D Systems representative, or in the USA, call the 3D Systems’ Response Center at (888) 337-9786.
