Is certification redundant?

0

No, not at all. Certification is a good thing and has a rightful place in the credentialing landscape of a mature profession. Independent organizations are entitled to decide what standards people have to meet to join their organization. We are just saying that certification is NOT appropriate for licensure and certification standards should not be imposed upon the licensure community.
