Is Cedar Point better than Geauga Lake?
That is a relative question. If you like the best and most roller coasters then definitely Cedar Point blows away any other park on the planet. If you want the most rides, the best live shows, good eats, great hotels, and lots of other fun stuff to do in the area then you want Cedar Point. If you hate traffic and long lines you’re going to want Geauga Lake. Cedar Point is $41.95 for a single day admission. GL is around $24.95, and GL’s waterpark is included in that rate. In Sandusky you’ll pay another $25 for admission to Soak City. GL has far less rides and roller coasters, and since Cedar Fair hasn’t owned it very long you’re still stuck with a lot of how Six Flags screwed it up. When you walk through it you feel like you’re in a run down park that hasn’t been updated since the Nixon Administration.
