Yes, CAREWare is compatible with Windows Vista and SQL Server 2005. SQL Server 2000 is not supported by Vista. You can access a SQL Server 2000 database installed on another system from a Vista system. You will be able to upgrade from SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2005 using the Microsoft provided upgrade advisor.
