Is car mileage correction legal?
Since the question is about a Ford Ka, I’ll assume it’s a UK question. Changing the mileage on a car is not in itself illegal. You only break the law if you try and claim that the mileage on the clock is genuine, but even at that, you’d have to be a trader getting caught wiping 50k+ off dozens of cars a year to stand any chance of being prosecuted, Your insurance company might not see it like that though.
