Yes! Capri is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences. (NACCAS) Q: Once I finish the program will I be licensed? A: In order to become licensed in NY, you must pass an examination by the NYS Division of Licensing. Capri’s curriculum trains you for the state board exam. Our graduates have an extremely high passing rate for this examination. Q: What if I want to practice my profession in another state? A: Capri New York also offers an additional 200 hr supplemental course at no charge to its graduates that will prepare students for the New Jersey State Board Examination. Every state has their own licensing requirements, and it would be a good idea to contact them directly to find out what those requirements might be. Q: What are the prerequisites for entry into the program? A:You must be 17 or older, You must gave a High School Diploma or GED.
