Most of the tales of Parsifal and so forth present him as an exemplar of good governance. Maybe not perfect governance but good governance. Camelot should be understood in that context. I believe four sites have been identified as it, in the recent historical past. I’ve frankly lost interest as to whether there is any consensus behind one of them. All the sites I’ve seen described have intrinsically important historical artifacts and are interesting whether they are Camelot or not.
