Is Cambridge University REALLY the Best??
No. Its an old fashioned story that has not been shaken off with the passage of time. 100 Years ago, Cambridge was THE University to study at, but now some of its degree courses are regarded as inferior – for example their medical degree program is crap – it is well known that London University (St Georges) is the best in the UK for a medical degree. All degrees from any approved University are good degrees – there is nothing exceptional or different between a Cambridge degree and, say, a Bristol Uni degree. Cambride do have a more stringent selection procedure however. Most employers are very clued up about education now, and in reality, a Cambridge degree has no advantage over any other degree – Remember the TV series with Sir Alan Sugar – he booted out the Cambridge Graduates as they were useless!!
