Yes calcium deficiency is a huge deal. When your body doesn’t have enough calcium it takes it from your bones making holes in your bones. Which in turn makes them brittle and they can break easy. You also need to drink and eat lots of calcium because when your an older women you can get a disease called osteoporosis. When your older your body doesn’t maintain calcium like it use to so they have really brittle bones. It is a big deal. Go back to your doctor and get his advice.
