Cal Poly Pomona is on a quarter system, which lasts 10 weeks, plus one week for finals. Term Breakdown Winter Quarter January – March Spring Quarter March – June Summer Quarter June – August Fall Quarter September – December Cal Poly Pomona is one of the few CSUs with a state supported summer quarter. This means that the fees are essentially the same for the summer. Other CSUs may charge more for the summer.
