Is BusiMate a “Double Entry” accounting system?
No, one of the main design goals of BusiMate was ease of use. If you need to correct an entry e.g. a transaction amount then you can simply update or delete that transaction (unless you’ve submitted a Tax Return that includes that transaction). With a “Double entry” system you would always need to create a second transaction reversing the values in the first and then create a third transaction showing the correct amount.
