Is Bumperchute® fire retardant as well?
Yes. Even though federal regulations do not require that the Bumperchute meet the CPAI-84 fire code for tents or closed structures, we wanted to offer our customers the safety and peace of mind that fire retardant fabric provides. REMEMBER: Always turn off your vehicle before setting up the Bumperchute. Do not smoke or use a barbecue grill under the Bumperchute canopy. The fabric will not erupt into flames, but it will melt and could result in burns or other serious injuries. PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND USE COMMON SENSE!
