Is blonde highlights suitable folr natural dark blonde hair?
Absolutely. If your hair is quite short you could use the “cap” method where the hair is pulled out with what looks exactly like a very fine gauge crochet hook. If your hair is longer then you would want to get it “foiled”. If you’re a bit on the fence and want it to look the most natural you might want a partial foil–just the hair framing your face and the crown of your head where the sun would lighten your hair anyway. This is a good choice also if you don’t want to have it done every 6 weeks…it will tend to blend in as it grows out and you won’t have noticeable roots. Go to a salon to have it done. Highlighting your own hair is difficult. Better to pay a professional to have it done right the first time. Much more expensive to have a mistake repaired!
